📈 Content Recommendation Algorithm
Purpose
Shows you content that matches your interests based on your engagement patterns (Magnet Score system).
How It Works
Analyzes your likes, comments, follows, Double Downvotes, and time spent on content to predict what you'll enjoy.
User Control
You can influence recommendations through Double Downvotes, blocking creators, and adjusting privacy settings. No legal consequences result from algorithm decisions.
🤖 AI-Generated Content Detection
Purpose
Detects text created by AI tools (banned under our Community Guidelines). All posts with captions of 10+ characters are analyzed in real-time.
How It Works
Uses OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model to analyze caption text characteristics, detecting patterns common in AI-generated content.
Tiered Automated Actions
- 95%+ probability: Post automatically removed, critical warning issued
- 85-94% probability: Post flagged for human review, critical warning notification sent
- 70-84% probability: Post flagged for human review, warning notification sent
- Below 70%: Post auto-approved, no action taken
GDPR Article 22 Notice: Automatic content removal at 95%+ probability is an automated decision with significant effects. You have the right to request human review of any automated removal decision.
💰 ESC Reward Calculation
Purpose
Calculates ESC rewards based on ad interactions, engagement, and Magnet Score.
How It Works
Combines ad revenue data, user engagement metrics, and quality signals (Magnet Score) to determine payouts.
Transparency
Full transaction history visible in ESC Dashboard. Disputes reviewed by finance team within 7 days.

What is GDPR Article 22?
Under GDPR Article 22, you have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (including AI) that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you. This means you can request human review of automated decisions.

- Content recommendations and feed ranking
- Magnet Score calculations
- Spam filtering (with appeal option)

How to Request Human Review
- Go to Settings → Privacy → AI Appeals
- Find the automated decision you want reviewed
- Click "Request Human Review"
- Provide any additional context
- Our team will review within 5 business days
